RICK’S APPRENTICESHIP

Rick started working in the vacuum industry in Guelph in 1982. He moved to the Niagara Region in 1987. After working for a short time at Doug Roy’s Vacuum Repair shop, it was bought out by “Come Clean with Us”. Rick spent 9 years working there.

 

THE BIRTH OF A & J VACUUM

1996 was the turning point for Rick. After working for 9 years as a Central Vacuum installer and repairman, Rick decided to purchase the business!!!

Along with his wife Pauline, Rick has successfully run A & J Vacuum ever since (25+ years)!!! More recently, Rick and Pauline have embarked on the second generation of A & J Vacuum as their daughter, Amanda, is now working alongside, learning the ins and outs of the business as she goes.
